Office 2000 Service Release 1a (SR-1a) will not download compltly

I am trying to download at end of incomplete download it says to contact

Have not been in contact yet but when I tried to validate my Office 2000 it
would not valdate either.

I am having the same problem I think.
Office 2000 SR-1a gets just so far once it asks me to insert disc 2, then it
quits says it can't install Internal Error 2349 and to contact product
support.
I read the log file for it; however; it is too techy for me and I sure can't
afford
the $35 for tech support.

Anyone able to help?

Hi,

Try installing Office updates from the following link-

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate

Check if it installs the updates correctly. If it fails, provide the exact
error you receive. Like whether it prompts for any Office Disc or so.

Refer the link below for installation of Office.

Also, do check if the CD-Drive is clean and try installing on a CD Drive
rather than an DVD Drive, if you are doing so :)
