I am installing Office 2000 professional on my new
computer with Windows XP Home. It had setup and run fine
on my Windows 98. Now I get half way through the install
and it asks me to insert my Windows Professional Service
Pack CD. I don't have windows professional, nor do I
have a service pack CD. Can someone tell me what I can
do to get around this problem. I have downloaded all the
updates for windows XP and installed them, and it hasn't
helped. I also tried installing a friend's Office 2000
Small Business, and it does the same thing.
