I cannot update my Office 2000 pro with SR-1 because the update install fails.
I have the same problem. In my case, part way through the install, it
complains that it doens't have the right privileges to WRITE to my Office
CD! I tell it to ignore this, but the install fails. It claims to have
created a log file, which doesn't exist.
