Office 2000 SR1a SP2 will not upgrade to SP3

I have repeatedly tried the office update site and also
running O2kSP3.exe file and I keep receiving "the update
cannot be applied".

Has anyone seem this problem?

Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]

Use the administrative installation from the Office Resource Kit, available
on the MIcrosoft Office site. Some folks have reported that using that
version is successful.
