Office 2000 standard

I recently performed system restore to my Windows ME and
when I tried to install Office 2000 I get a message saying
there are no applications to support it. I have Works
only, which came with the computer, HP Pavilion.

210437 - OFF2000: Products That Qualify for the Microsoft Office Upgrade:

It says, " This includes Microsoft Works 6.0 and Microsoft Works Suite 2001.
If the upgrade version of Office 2000 does not recognize one of these
products, please contact Microsoft Technical Support."
