I can start Microsoft Word, but it will almost immediately inform me that
Word is not installed, when it has been installed and working properly for
several years. I checked Regedit's permissions for the administrator Admin
in Windows XP Home under HKLM\Software and HKCU\, and it lists Admin, System,
and Everyone with Full Control and Read permissions with the Special
Permissions box completely clear. I also boot Windows XP Pro on a different
partition on the same computer and the permissions of Everyone are read only
for the administrator Admini. Does this mean there's a problem with my XP
Home registry?
