Office 2000 virus scan

Is there a way to stop my Office 2000 programs from doing virus scan while openning?

Disable the Office document scan in your virus scanner. If using
Norton then go to Options and in the Miscellaneous section turn off
"Enable Office Plug-in".

I don't know about the other virus scanners. If you're not using
Norton and can't find the option then post back and someone will be
able to help you out.
