Office 2000 vs Vista

I just loaded Office 2000 into Vista and when I open Word or Excel I am
getting a message that says "Office application version does not match." But
then it allows me to open a new document. Does anyone know what that means?
My computer came with a trial of Office 2007 and I didn't delete it when I
loaded 2000. Are they competing? Or is 2000 just not working correctly
with Vista? I need to use this for school work and I would hate to have a
problem with a paper when I need it most...

You should have uninstalled the Office 2007 trial version before
installing your older Office 2000. If this "Office application version
does not match" message is the only problem you're experiencing, then
you may be able to get away with only uninstalling Business Contact
Manager for Outlook 2007 from Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove
Programs. BCM should be a separately listed item in the Add or Remove
Programs dialog.
