Office 2000 will not recognize the SP3 updates

My Office 2000 has the SR1 updates. When I downloaded
the SP3 update, I stored it in my document file, then
opened it. This is the message I get, "The expected
version of the product was not found on this system."

How can I get the SP3 updates installed?

The update requires you to have the original O2K CD in your CD drive.
