Office 2000

I am in the process of purchasing a new computer wit
Windows XP Home version. My present system is windows
98.Will windows XP accept and run the windows office 2000
program which I purchased several years ago and installed
in the windows 98.?
Any information would be helpfull [email protected] the
two programs I work with constantly is Microsoft Word and
Microsoft works which do not seem to be on the XP.

Office 2000 will run just fine on XP.
