I have Office 2000 which I use for personal use. Had to reinstall it on
Desktop. Have not experienced any problems during the past reinstalls on
either desktops or laptops through the years. I finally was successful in
installing both CDs. However, when utilizing Word or Excel (don't use
Outlook), I am presented with the same screen seen during the installation
which requires the CD key's 25 characters. I have the set numbers also.
If this is NOT remedied, can I change my file extensions from .doc to .txt
and open in Notepad... and then what programs are out there which do not
require me to pay big bucks for Office 2007?
