Office 2002

HELP files won't load, when I try to access Help (F1 or via menu) I get a
blank screen that tells me it's help....

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I've tried re-installing, etc., I need
some real advice, basics aren't the answer.

Thanks for you help, but I don't have either file in my registry. Strange.
What do you suggest?

Do you have any 2000-series Microsoft programs installed? If you use
Windows Explorer or My Computer to search for the MSOHELP.EXE file
(include system and hidden files in the search options), do you find
more than one? Does this problem occur in all Office XP applications,
or just in Word 2002, or just in Excel 2002, or just in Powerpoint 2002,
or...? Have you tried running Detect and Repair from the Help menu of
any Office XP application?

Using Explorer search I found two. I went back and ran regedit again and
changed permissions as stated, however I still have the same problem. This
occurs in all Office apps, this is a relatively new Dell computer, everything
worked fine before on the computer I built prior to this one. I really do
appreciate your help.

Thanks,
TJ
