Office 2003 & 2007 Installation on Vista Machine

Good Evening:

I have searched the Microsoft Website, but have not found an answer to my
question [I may have overlooked it or am not looking in the correct place] I
have Office 2007 installed on my Windows Vista Home Premium computer. Where
I work they are not upgrading to Office 2007.

On occasion I bring work home and I need to install Office 2003 alongside
Office 2007 on my computer. When using Office 2007, I have saved files as
an earlier version of Office, but when I attempt to open the files at work
they will not open due to incompatability.

Can someone, anyone Please Help? Thank You in Advance for any and all
assistance and/or suggestions.

Respectfully,

Simvacious Lady ~ Dee

I believe there is a compatibility pack which you can download from the MS
web site which allows office 2003 read and use office 2007 saved files.

Double check the way you are saving those files. Make sure that you are
saving them as the correct format. It's such a simple thing to mess up.

Look at your "save as" menu, it has the option of saving as a Word 97-2003 as
the default.

Not everyone can download software on their work computers. Some IT
departments lock systems down fairly tight.
