Office 2003 accessibility - changing menu highlight colours

I'm trying to help a guy with a vision impairment. He asked me the following
question:

"I now have Office 2003 and have a problem. Under Office 2000, say for
example you wanted to select 'File' and then 'print', the print box would
inverse highlight when you put the mouse on it making it easier to read. Now
in office 2003 when you do the same thing it does not inverse highlight. It
just shades the area in a slightly darker grey".

Does anyone know how to customise the background and highlight colours in
Office 2003 ?

HAve you checked into the Accessibility Options in Windows Control
panel? That's where the High Contrast display settings are easily
accessible.
