Hi all,
I know this would have been stated a million times but everyone goes through
it. How annoying is it when you have to keep reactivating Office 2003 Pro
after formatting your hard drive. I format my operating system around every
three to six months to clean it up properly, get rid of any malicious progs
that are on it and to speed up everything. I know people will say you don't
need to do that but it makes me feel safer as I use online banking. And yes I
have A LOT of software and hardware firewalls, antivirus and spyware programs
running.
It does become a bit of a joke when you have paid so much for these programs
and then they make it difficult to use. I rang them about three days ago to
activate it they give you the third degree trying to make sure its genuine. I
formatted my hard yesterday after getting a decent trojan and reinstalled it
and have to go through the same progress again. Guess what microsoft, it is
fairly easy to get a cracked copy of office. Its even easier to get a cracked
copy of Windows. You make it difficult for people to use the product and
thats when they hunt for a cracked copy.
I hope you come up with better methods to secure your software that would
not cause us pain.
