Is there a way to install Office 2003 on two computers in my home and successfully activate the product on both computers?

If you purchase the retail version of Office 2003 Standard, Small Business
or Professional, you can load it onto one desktop and one laptop (not two
desktops). If you qualify for the Student and Teacher Edition, you can
install it on up to 3 computers (for non-commercial use).

I have cut/pasted the appropriate question below.
Q. How many times can I install Office 2003 Editions?
A. Twice. You can install one copy of Office 2003 Editions on your main computer and another on your laptop computer for your exclusive, but non-
concurrent use. You can work with Office 2003 Editions at your desk and when mobile. To install a version of Office 2003 Editions on more than these two
devices, you must obtain another license for the program. Note Licenses for the 2003 release of Office acquired preinstalled on new computers are single-
computer licenses that cannot be transferred or installed on another computer.
I am closing this issue as resolved. Please reopen if you believe that this question has not been answered.
