office 2003 activation

i bought office 2003 student edition and installed it on two computers
at home. i will be receiving a third computer shortly so that will
take up my last activation. however, I am scrapping one of my old
computers, is there any way to regain that license? technically I will
have office installed on only 2 computers, so I dont see why that
should use up all of my activations.

You will probably have to activate by phone, and may be asked to explain.

Use the telephone activation method for your third box.
Scrap the second computer before.
