Office 2003 activation

Hi There- I bought 2 dell laptops , with OEM office 2003 a couple of years
ago. All was well- but 1 of the latops- had a HDD failure a couple of time -
so eventually- I replaced the hdd , and loaded all the sofwtare backon- But I
was careless, in keeping the office package with the right computer - so when
I loaded on the software - tried to activate it - I got this product has
already been activated. Which would have been correct. Is there a quick way
of applying the correct activation code - without having to run the install
again.

Yes there is. Use the telephone Activation method

Its the product key you may have entered incorrectly
Belarc Advisor or MagicJelly Bean will both show the key on the functioning
system

Its also the case that if you activated fairly recently (120 days?) ,
successfully, then it may be a case of using phone activation
