Office 2003 admin update problem

Office 2003 Editions admin update:
1. 1/27/2004 Word 2003 Update: KB830000
2. 12/16/2003 Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Filter Update: KB832333
3. 11/04/2003 Office 2003 Critical Update: KB828041



i am trying to update my admin installation(containing Custom
Installation file, MST)
file patched No. 3 is ok, but file 1 & 2 are old "versioned" ?

i am using this format of updating my admin installation:
msiexec.exe /p [path\name of update MSP file] /a [path\name of MSI file]
/qb lv* [path\name of log file]
admin share is "unshare" while i am updateing my installation

Thanks for posting here!

I understand that when you were updating your Office 2003 admin
installation you missed the admin server. If I have misunderstood your
meaning, please do let me know.

Did you get any error message when deploying the updates for Office 2003?
Would you please describe the issue in a detailed way? Thanks.

Moreover, I would like to recommend you go though and try the steps in the

yes you misunderstood my meaning,

so everything is ok, but when i want to check version of updated file on
my adminshare
expl.

for KB830000 it is WINWORD.EXE 11.0.6058.0(version)
after update , file version on my share is still 11.0.6113

i will send to my log, it is ok ?

Sorry that I have misunderstood your meaning. Actually after we have
installed the update:830000, the version of winword.exe will be changed to
11.0.6113.0. I would like to know which winword.exe is 11.0.6058.0 after
update.

How to Determine Whether the Update Is Installed
------------------------------------------------
The update contains an updated version of the following file:

File name Version
------------------------
Winword.exe 11.0.6113.0

Please send the log file to [email protected] if anything is unclear.

so now i am really confused:

according to this link
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/2003/admin/wrd1101a.htm
after KB830000 upgrade file version must be 11.0.6058.0

my version now, after update is 11.0.6113.0, version before was
11.0.5604.0(installed on client computers before upgrading Admin share)
