office 2003 and 2007

after installing the upgrade 2007 can 2003 be deleted from the harddrive or
does it has to stay for them both to work together, i wanted to remove ms
office 2003, good idea?

kinda wanted to know if deleting 2003 will be ok as long as 2007 is already
installed and dont want to waste time finding out that 2003 has to be there

Hi Dean,

You can uninstall Office 2003 from Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel if you're not going to use it. The only time
Office 2007 upgrade packages should need to find Office 2003 would be asking for the CD during an install of the upgrade package.
