Office 2003 constantly tries to configure itself

Just installed Office 2003 on a XP Pro machine. Opening up IE, Word,
Outlook, etc., it brings up the Office 2003 configuration screen as if I am
running the program for the very first time. How do I fix this as it is
getting rather annoying?
