Office 2003 Custom Installation Wizard

C

Greetings to the community...

Office 2003 has been manually installed and configured (yes I know, ugh)
throughout our buildings and I want to change that by using the Custom
Installation Wizard to create a customized MST and apply it. What I need to
find out is:

1. Can I run the setup command to install these new settings so that it
will keep the users current settings as well as apply the new ones...

or

2. Would it be best to uninstall the current Office product from the
desktops and redeploy Office 2003 with the new settings?

I don't want to lose the security patches and fixes that are applied if
possible.

Thanks for any help..

You cannot use Custom Installation wizard now because its only for the
original deployment phase.
you need to use Custom Maintenance Wizard to create a CMW file and run it
with maintwiz.exe /c abc.CMW
This way you can achieve what you want
