Hi,
I have problem with deploying an office 2003 via Group Policy in
windows 2000/2003 domain.
I prepare installation step-by-step from Microsoft Office Online site
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402011033.aspx, but it
doesnt work. When i executed gpresult, this msi package wasnt there.
(another added msi packages (like msxml parrser) i found in gpresult
output)
My practice.
1. creating share with everyone full controll rights on Share
permission and NTFS permission
2. creating an Administrative Installation Point
a. executing setup.exe from office 2003 cd with parameter /a.
typing code
b. entering the organization name
c. entering the server and share i created
d. entering the 25-character Volume License Key
e. accepting the end-user license agreement.
3. creating mst package with office resource kit (I created mst in
same share where the office pro11.msi package was.)
4. creating group policy for deployment office. (In computer section-
software installation I assigned pro11.msi and mst package for
installation.)
5. moving computer account to OU, where is GP for deployment office
linked.
6. updating GP on client pc and restarting.
So anybody can help me?
