Office 2003 expired after 3 years?

Hi,

I have a copy of office that I believe was purchased with my computer in
2004. Recently, when starting any of the Office Applications, I received a
message stating that my Office version had expired and that I needed to
convert it to a standard install. I have had this version from 3 years
without a problem - do trial versions last 3 years? What are my options.

Thanks,

Jila

Where did you get this version of Office? IIRC, Microsoft had a program where you essentially "rented" Office from year to year but they abandoned it and converted all of the versions to full versions.

Does that notice have instructions for how to convert to a fully functional Office? What happens when you use them?
