Office 2003- file unavailable

HI I'm having a problem with my Office 2003. Word, excel
and powerpoint, won't let me open any files, it tells me
that "The file ___.doc is an available"

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it? Outlook works
fine and Access, just ignore open file reqest.

There's a critical patch for Office 2003 which you should install. In one of the Office 2003 programs, go to Help/Check for Updates and install the patches and critical updates.
