Office 2003 files

I am having problems with office 2003 in my new pc. For
some reason I can't open any files, old or new from any
of the office applications. Does anyone have a solution
for this problem?

Have you updated the installation from the Office Update site?

If you also use Norton AV then go to Norton Options and in the
Miscellaneous section turn off "Enable Office Plug-in".
