Office 2003 & Frontpage 2002 ?

Jeff

Hello,

I recently installed Office 2003. But I noticed it doesnt have Frontpage.
I do not have Frontpage 2003. But I have Frontpage from my Office XP. Can I
install it with Office 2003 ? Will it cause any conflicts ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jeff

Yes, if you uninstalled Front Page 2002 or Office XP manually before
starting Office 2003 setup. You will not have conflicts.

If when you installed Office 2003 you accepted the option during
installation to remove prior versions of Office applications, only those
prior applications contained in your edition of Office 2003. Others will be
left intact. Since Front Page is not in your Office 2003, Front Page 2002
should still be there. So before you do anything, check in All Programs,
Microsoft Office or in Control Panel, Add/Remove programs to determine if
you need do anything.

Absolutely fine to install a previous version. There should be no
conflicts. But remember that if you do Office Updates, you now have two
versions of Office to update, and you'll need to make sure you retain the
original installation CDs in case the Windows Installer needs them during
updates. (Office 2003 uses a local install source by default to help with
updates, but Office XP doesn't, so don't lose those CDs).
