Office 2003 Future

A

Access Wizard

I develop applications in Access 2003. One of my customers is
concerned he will not be able o buy Office 2003. I know that Microsoft
no longer sells OEM editions. I also know that it is available in the
secondary market.

Can anyone tell me the skinny on whether Microsoft still sells Office
2003, and if not what the likelihood of being able to buy it going
forward?

Thanks,

MS no longer sells Office 2003.

The likelihood of being able to buy it going forward? From MS? Null,
I'd gues. From alternate (legitimate) sources ... probably a bit less
with each passing day/week/month. They're not making any more legal
ones.

Do downgrade rights exist? People buying for example Vista Business can
downgrade "temporarily" to XP while they bring their equipment and IT staff
up to speed to support Vista. Something for your customer to ask his
account representative.

Do your Access 2003 apps run under Access 2007? Be a good idea to find
out...
