Office 2003 Graphics Display Problem

I am using office 2003 professional edition on IBM thinkcenter. I am facing
problem while working with grapics. RAM is 512MB

Whenever i open a graphics in word 2003, it takes time to load. Second at
times, the view goes blank and image does not show up. Thirdly when i preview
the image, it shows in reduced size but does not show at 100%, image does not
show up.......

At times, the image shows and at times, it does not work. Can some body help
me please.
