Office 2003 icons have changed to the appearance of Office 98 icon

Hello there.
Has anybody experienced the above. The icons in my office 2003 suite have
changed to those of Office 98. Have no idea how this has happened. I have
uninstalled Office and reinstalled and even completely installed the OS but
to no avail. I cannot find a setting anywhere and have no further clues.
I'd appreciate any ideas.

Office 98 was a Mac only version. Try running Detect and Repair and elect
the option to restore your shortcuts.
