Office 2003 - Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera option greyed out

Hi Everybody,

No luck with this one so far. With Office 2003 professional installed, the
option to insert a picture "from scanner or camera" is greyed out. This is
the case in Word, Excel & PowerPoint, but curiously, it is available in
Publisher. The installation is a Windows 2003 Server. I have replicated the
problem on another 2003 server, but not on an SBS 2003 server & not on an XP
Pro workstation.

Whether or not a scanner is actually installed makes no difference (in fact,
the option is still available in XP Pro/SBS even if one isn't - clicking on
the option just leads to an error).

Surely this function is the same in Word, excel & PowerPoint as it is in
Publisher, so why would it be disabled in one & enabled in the other.

Office is fully installed (all sub options, etc).

Any ideas?
