Hi Elaine,
Have you tried completely uninstalling it first (Control Panel :
Add/Remove Programs). If not, make sure you have all your license keys
(or what ever other rubbish you need to re-install) and then uninstall
it fully, then reboot.
Then re-install and wait on this progress screen for an hour before
giving up.
If this doesn't work, it's possible your computer (and/or MSI) is messed up.

Sorry - I mean just that. I don't get any error messages. The Microsoft
Office 2003 Setup up remains, no activity in the progress bar (completely
blank), nothing for current action. Only way out of it is to close the
window.
