We are trying to install a brand new full version od
office 2003 pro


office 2003 install "insert the 'Microsoft Office 2000 SR-
1 Disc 2' disk and click OK" comes up when the blue bar is
99% finished

we do not have this old disk

how can we get around this

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel
to see what 2000 series Microsoft Office family apps are
installed. Publisher 2000 would be one that was on CD#2.

The MS Installer expects to always have access to the product
source for progams it manages to repair/update installations
when it finds issues. You may want to uninstall from the
Control panel if you don't have the CD available.
