Office 2003 Install over Office 2000 WinXP - Best Method

B

Bubba

Greetings experts,

I have a machine with Win XP Pro SP-2 and Office 2k. All is well but I just
purchased Office 2003. Should I simply install 2003 or should I first
uninstall 2K. Thanks.

If you want to keep any of the Office 2000 programs, install over the top
and select a custom installation and only upgrade the programs that you
want, selecting the option, when presented, to keep the older program.

If you do not need any Office 2000 programs, I would install over the top
and elect to not keep any Office programs. Either way, choosing the upgrade
will be a smooth installation.
