Office 2003 - ...installation file SKU011.cab...

Rick Bryan

Folks,

While installing the Office 2003 release, it removed the
beta programs adn whenit attempts to install Office 2003
Pro, I get the message:

Installation Error: File not Found

A required installation file SKU011.cab could not be found

Original Installation Source Required:

So, I show it, and it is not happy, I copy it to the
desktop and show it where it is, and it is STILL not
happy.... wht am I doing wrong? The CD is a backup,
improperly named because I do not have the correct CD
name, but is says that if it is through the network, which
it was, that it should accept it.... but it didn't!

Please tell me your experience!

Thanks,

Rick

Hi Rick,

When Office 2003 is installed from a MS CD the
term 'original' in that message can be important.
The fix is to insert the original product CD in
the drive for this issue.
