I just installed Office 2003 on a computer running Windows
XP pro with Office XP on it. The installed went to
completion and Office 2003 runs.....but. Office 2002 was
NOT uninstalled and infact at least part of Outlook 2002
appears to still be there. I can run both Word 2002 and
Word 2003 for example tho I don't need to. But the real
issue is Outlook 2003 -- it runs, but went I exit the
program there is a large file between 20MB and 40MB (it
varies) left behind that I must use WinXP to kill.
I have considered using add/remove programs to remove
Office 2002 and, if necessary re-installing Office 2003,
but don't know if that is a valid, or even the best
solution.
