Office 2003 Installations Unsuccessful

I am part of a team at my company that is currently investigating Office 2003
installation problems.

So far, we have not been able to succeffuly load a copy of Office 2003. In
particular, the Reference libraries in Access produce errors. On one
occasion, an error indicated problems in the registry. Naturally, we cannot
distribute this application until we have all these problems solved.

It seems very odd that on a brand new machine with nothing more than an
operating system, we cannot get a clean installation of Office 2003.

We are very interested to learn whether others have had a similar
experience. We are considering rolling back our office version to Office
2000, which was very stable.
