I am trying to setup a deployment package to upgrade our existing OfficeXP
through remote Office 2003 CD image on a network share. I have created the
transform file using the CIW, and edited the setup.ini file with reference
to the [mst] file location. The installation kicks off with the following
syntax:
\\remoteserver\share\setup.exe /settings \\remoteserver\share\setup.ini
Note: Once all the configuration is finalized, I am planning to deploy it
with SMS.
The installation goes smooth without any errors. However, all the settings
I have configured in the MST are not getting set. The tranform file is
configured to migrate all the user settings with additional manditory
settings like "no personal menu" and "enable caching offline". I know the
transform file is working since the license agreement is not being
displayed.
Is there setting I am forgetting to have the transform file applied fully?
Any advise would be appriated.
