Office 2003 Key wont work with new laptop with trial office 2007

Hi,

I just got a new laptop. It has Vista Home premium and the standard trial
version of Office the details: Microsoft Office Word 2007 (12.0.4518.1014)
MSO (12.0.6013.5000)

Through my employer I can access the Microsoft Home Use Program and I bought
a full version of MSO 2003. I try using this key on the trial version of
2007 and it doesn't work.

i only have 15 more times that I can use the trial version for free. What
can i do? Should my 2003 key work, or should I reinstall 2003? How do i
transfer e-mails from 2007 once I reinstall 2003?

You dont really expect a key for 2003 to work on a 2007 version do you?

You need to uninstall Office 2007, and its activation assistant via
Add/Remove Programs dialogue. Then run Disk Clean up on your temp files &
reboot prior to installing Office from your 2003 cd
All your data will be intact Outlook 2003 should automatically connect your
old mail data file

Thanks for those encouraging words. I feel like a guber!
