Office 2003 Menu Alignment

I'm running office 2003, and all the drop down menus from the menu bar are
aligned to the right, i.e. the right edge of the "file" menu aligns with the
end of the word "File" on the menu bar, the rest of the menu expands to the
left. How can I set it so these align to the left ( the left hand side of
the menu aligns with the start of the word "File", and the menu expands to
the right). I 'm running XP Tablet edition, and none of the menus in my
other programs behave this way.

Have you tried resetting them yet? R-click the Menu, Customize,
Toolbars, Menubar, Reset.

I had tried that (well I got to the same panel from Outlook|tools|customize).
I just tried again, and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Thanks for
the effort though ;-)

Sorry, i have not seen that issue before. Perhaps its picking up a
setting from the XP tablet settings, anything set to "Right to Left"?

Thanks, that seemed to do it. I didn't think this was a tablet issue, but I
searched help for "tablet right left" and got a link to "Tablet and Pen
Settings" that lets you choose left handed or right handed menus. Thanks
again!
