??? Office 2003 Missing File ? MFDS.XLA??

Lee

Hi guy,

When I open Excel 2003 (pro) I get a dialogue box saying office 11, library
11 MFDS.XLA is missing. Attempted to install update via MS--no luck.

Also Outlook 2003 gives a dialogue box with NULL, LDAP Directory with
options for server user name. Is this mine by default. Never used this
feature.

Microsoft LDAP Directory
Port 32XX
User Name NULL
Password (Blank)

Thanks in advance.

Can't help with the Excel problem. For Outlook, if you are not using an
LDAP directory for your addresses, go to Tools->Email
Accounts->Directories->View or Change and remove the LDAP directory from
your address book services.

(Note, irrelevant groups removed from cross-posting - what did
microsoft.public.outlook.programming_forms have to do with this anyway??)

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

Hi Lee,

XLA files are Excel Add-ins. You may want to check
in Tools=>Add-Ins. It could be a version specific issue
for that add-in or that the path to it has changed.
