Hi all.
I have a serious issue with Outlook 2003 and its newsreader.
I followed the instructions included in Help to place the "News" menu
item in the "Go" menu, as it is not there by default in Outlook 2003.
Yesterday, after having done all this, the Outlook newsreader showed up
fine and I was able to view the newsgroups as normal, but when I went to
my machine today to do the same thing, the "News" menu item was gone
from the "Go" menu. When I repeated the steps in Help to place this
item in the "Go" menu again, I was shocked to discover that the "News"
item was no longer among the choices available.
It seems that, in essence, Office 2003 has locked me out of its
newsreader and I am forced to use the Netscape one, which I dislike.
Any ideas on how to restore access to the newsreader? I have already
reinstalled Office 2003 twice and used "Detect and Repair" from the Help
menu but nothing has changed.
