Office 2003 over Office XP?

H

Harry Krause

I'll soon be installing Office 2003 on a machine that currently has
Office XP on it.

I'll want to remove Office XP first and presume the usual way will work.
Is that presumption presumptious? Or does Office XP leave behind "trash"
on an uninstall that will create problems?

Here's an example. If I remove Outlook for Outlook 2003, does the
removal of outlook XP also remove all of Outlook's settings and folders
and mail?

Thanks!

Just install Office 2003 on top. It will offer to upgrade and in the
process will first remove Office XP and then install 2003. All
settings and folders and mail will be preserved.
