I know that I have the program loaded. However, when I try to access one of
the features it stats to come up and I see it in the background but I get a
Windows Installer Message and everything seems to remain static. Is my
Windows Installer messed up or what? I am not particularly technically
astute so any information you might supply would be appreciated.

If you supply us with the exact error message, it would help with your
problem. Also, did Office ever run? Have you tried a detect and repair
from Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->Microsoft Office->Change->Repair?
