Office 2003 programs stop responding when you use Save As command

When you open a document in MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint 2003 and click File ->
Save As the program stops responding. This issue arose shortly after
installing a Smart Card reader and related software.

Yes, it was helpful to the extent that I have a lead to go on. You didn't
geve me fix procedures.

If I uninstall security update MS06-015 as suhhested by Pepper below, will
that be the simple cure.

The PC is not in my house.

Yes, it was helpful to the extent that I have a lead to go on.

Yesterday I had already uninstalled the pesky Hewlett-Packard's
Share-to-Web software which I did not realize was so problematic. (It
complicated the on-line experience as it ran on the ADMIN account while I was
in the Limited Account.)

Today I read your link to the RESOLUTION at security update MS06-015. What
is not clear is whether I should just perform the Registry hack or uninstall
the SmartCard Reader update.

So is the problem with Share to Web or with security update MS06-015?

The PC is not in my house.
