Office 2003 rules and alerts button gives error

When I try to select rules and alerts in Outlook 2003 I
get an error message that read "The operation failed". I
would like to know how to fix this problem. This
happened after I tried to import my .rwz file from
outlook 2000. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Clear your rles by starting Outlook by;
Start-> Run; "path to Outlook.exe" /cleanrules
