Office 2003 safe mode

After a fresh installation of Office Pro 2003, Wor will only start in safe
mode. When I check to see what items have been disabled, nothing shows up.
What can I do to fix this?

The link contained another link which pointed to turning off a NAV plugin for
Microsoft Office. Disabling this feature fixed my problem.
