Office 2003 Service Pack 2 fails to install.

I am trying to install Office 2003 Service Pack 2 and it fails to complete
the installation. I get the following message "Error 1328 Error applying
patch to file C:\config.msi\pT6A.tmp. Has been updateed by other means."
HOw do I fix this for the update to take affect?

I gave up on the 50 meg service pack and tried loading the 104 meg service
Pack. This worked, why I do not know but it worked and now I am updated.
