OFFICE 2003 Setup HELP!!

T

Tommy

Everytime I go to install Office 2003, it gets almost all
the way done and bombs out, it says this error:
Installation Error: File Not Found

A required installation file MC561403.CAB could not be
found.

The file is on the CD, I've even copied the file to the
hard drive and tried, still says the same thing. I have
even opened the CAB file and its a valid file, nothing is
wrong. I have Service Pack 1 installed on my machine and
it keeps giving this stupid error, anyone know how to get
around this???

Thanks,
Tommy

Tried both ways, im going to try to copy the CD to the
drive again, if this doesnt work then heck with it, not
worth this much trouble.

Thanks,
T.

-----Original Message-----
did you copy just the cab or the entire disk to your drive? I received a
similar error and copying the cd contents to the drive, then running setup
from the drive worked.
