I run Home XP yet Office Update tells me there are updates to be applied. I
do not have the full Office 2003 package only what came with the store bought
pachage (such as Word 2002). The only additional Microsoft product I
downloaded was the free Powerpoint Viewer from the Microsoft site. When I try
to install, I get error messages stating that it is unsuccessful. Can someone
please explain (in plain english) how can I resolve this situation?
This has happened in the past with previous office updates as well, but not
consistently. Sometimes the updates can be applied, sometimes not.
